A BIT ABOUT US
Be the Change
Eco Brothers was formed by combining two successful youth-led projects into one strong non-profit. Eco Brothers has collected and donated 225,000 books, raised $120,000 for literacy and environmental issues and impacted the lives of more than 65,000 students in Hillsborough County, Florida. They have championed the need for books-with-diversity and dual language books in their county raising more than $70,000 to purchase these new books with the help of grants from Points of Light, Karma for Cara, Riley's Way Foundation, Civics Unplugged, Prudential, Hershey and the Lightning Foundation.
The organization also teams up with Glad Dogs Nation to construct pet toys out of upcycled used stuffed animals. To date they have constructed more than 5000 pet toys for shelters and rescues in 46 states. The duo also runs monthly beach and park cleanups.
Leading a team of hundreds of students, Chase and Zach have collectively dedicated more 2500 hours to serving their communities and look forward to working with you!
